Project 365 | Week 1

Day 1/365 January 2nd/2017 - Day 1! I am so excited to see how long I can keep this up. Fingers crossed for a full 365 days, god willing. Day 1 we're trying to get back into the groove. Today was Morg's first day back to school after Christmas break and I am having a hard time swinging back into early mornings. 

Day 2/365 January 3rd/2017 - Felt like a big ol' weirdo taking my camera into walmart to grocery shop. Jon does most of the work when he's dieting considering all I pick out is junk food and items that I enjoy microwaving. Hey, new year new me right? 

Day 3/365 January 4th/2017

olan and I had lunch with Gammy and walked around Marshall's for a little bit. Super gloomy day and we were waiting patiently for this snow to hit us!

Day 4/365 January 5th/2017

I had a session in Pocomoke first thing this morning. Went to XO for most of the day and worked on editing. Another gloomy day, where are you snow?!

Day 5/365 January 6th/2017

It felt like -12degrees this morning but I was so happy to capture Julie + Smitty's elopement in downtown Salisbury. After that I worked for a couple of hours at the new Rise Up.

Day 6/365 January 7th/2017 IT'S HERE!! The snow finally came! Began around 1:30-2am this morning and didn't stop once until 5pm. Almost a foot and a half here in Westover! Shew! Took 40 minutes to dress the boys and only 15 minutes before they cried to come in. The joys of motherhood.

Day 7/365 January 8th/2017 - Still cooped up in the house. I was so happy when Jon told me Steph + Phil were coming over, because I am dying for some adult interaction here at this point.  We played Quirkle, Taboo + Quarters with bets, loser had to belly flop in the snow/other completely irrational punishments. Also ordered an unreasonable amount of buffalo wings and cheese fries from Riverside. Steph + I attempted an impossible Harry Potter puzzle and were defeated. Successful Snow Day.
