Mom + Wife

When I was twenty, I met my husband while serving tables in college. It took a little bit of coaxing from my close friends but when I fell for him I fell hardShortly after we started dating, we began planning out how we would continue a relationship while I was in the air force, because that had been my plan. I had saved + purchased a DSLR prior to this, so I could document while traveling + everything in between. That's when little Morgan surprised us. He was all hair when he came rolling into this world + we were smitten. That next year we got married, Jon graduated with a Phys Ed degree, we found out we were moving to Massachusetts AND we were going to be parents again. All of this within a month I believe? Yeeeeeah. Our lives have always been this way. 100 MPH at all times, but we love it. I would take photos for friends + family for free until I felt I was good enough to charge money, + even then I don't think I ever asked above $50. We moved back home to Maryland in 2014, I quit my full time job in 2015 to pursue photography + it has been incredible to say the least. The creative's life is the most rewarding, fun, anxiety-inducing, wonderful rollercoaster of emotion I have ever been on. I wouldn't change it for anything.

Where it all began for me

I am SO glad you're here. Since I was little I have had a love for the camera. My mom bought me a Polaroid One-Step for my tenth birthday + I believe that's where it all started for me. I love seeing the world through a viewfinder. I’m entering my ninth year as a full time photographer (holy crap) and have been shooting since 2012. Children, weddings, + families are what fuels my fire for photography + I am so humbled and thankful for amazing clients that stick with me through thick + thin in my little business. I love the in-between moments when clients forget that I'm even there + are just real. I would be more than honored to document what you love.
