Cindy + Kornel | Backyard Eastern Shore MD Wedding | Manokin, MD

Today on the blog I am sharing the most amazing backyard wedding I have ever had the pleasure of attending!

Cindy told me that she loves living out of the country and the experiences that she is able to have teaching abroad, but when it came to her wedding she wanted to have it somewhere that took her back to childhood. Cindy + Kornel had their intimate ceremony in the backyard of Cindy's parents' vacation home in Manokin. She told me that the property brings her back to summers on the water with her family and that she couldn't wait to bring Kornel here to experience those warm and fuzzy feelings with her now husband!

I could not have asked for more perfect weather, it was warm but we had a nice breeze that also kept the bugs away. Every detail of the day was so sentimental. Cindy was the only one of my brides (EVER) that I never communicated with or met before her wedding day. She found me from an instagram hashtag (WHAT?!) and had her mom inquire for her since she was thousands of miles away. I only spent a handful of hours with this couple but I saw more love in that short period of time than I have seen with some couples that I have known for years. It is so so apparent that these two are meant to be and I am so over the moon for them!

Enjoy these images from this sweet couple's wedding day! TAKE NOTE of the gorgeous rose gold and morganite ring that Kornel surprised Cindy with during their ceremony! IT IS PERFECT.

Jon + Ashley | Camden Yards Engagement

When I got an email from my bride Ashley that she had some connections line up and that her and Jon wanted their engagements taken at Camden Yards, I have to admit that I almost peed my pants! We got an inside look at Oriole Park and myself (being an O's fan straight out of the womb) couldn't have been giddier that day. I felt like I was walking on a cloud when the groundskeeper told us we could walk onto the field, and I knew that Ashley was feeling the same! It was such an honor to capture the bond between these two where all the Oriole's Magic happens!

Randi + Nick | Cape May Wedding

I had such a blast capturing this sweet couple's big day! Could not have asked for a better day for Randi + Nick at Hotel Icona. Between the stunning uniforms and Randi's classic gown, every detail seemed too good to be true! I have never had such a laid back bride and such relaxed families on both sides.

The ladies in the bridal party started their day out like most do, relaxing and snacking while being pampered. But the guys... had a different idea in mind. This was my first "Groom's party polar bear plunge". They jumped into the ocean around noon, it was extremely windy (trust me, my hair can vouch for that) and 30 degrees. But it was a blast! I am so happy for Randi + Nick; I think everyone felt the love between these two, especially as everyone wiped tears through the ceremony.

These two just headed for their permanent honeymoon in Hawaii!

Congrats, guys!

Jessy & Nate | Ocean Pines Yacht Club 8.29.15

Jessy & Nate are awesome; which in turn made their wedding day absolutely awesome. I had so much fun shooting their wedding I didn't even feel like I was even working most of the time. I experienced my first Hora, a jewish dance that is custom at weddings, and the smashing of the glass. What a cool experience that I am so grateful for.

I have only gotten to know these two through their wedding planning process, but you don't have to spend a long period of time with Jess and Nate to know that they were made for each other. I wish you two nothing but happiness in the future! Your big day was beautiful and I hope you cherish these for years to come!

CONGRATULATIONS Mr. and Mrs. Leigh!

Hayley & Angel are MARRIED!

Hayley & Angel got married at one of the cutest places on one of the cutest islands around. They gave me yet another reason to fall in love with Chicoteague, VA. AGAIN. They tied the knot at the Island Manor House, a quaint and adorable little bed and breakfast. I have never attended a ceremony and reception that was so quiet, personal, and heart-warming as this was. They were very simple with planning, and Hayley was right by concentrating on what was most important.. The fact that this day was about her and Angel, and what made THEM happy. Hayley thank you for letting me be a part of the best day and moments of your life, it was an honor for me to capture something so special. Below is a good peek at their day and some details that really pulled their wedding day together!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Negron!
