I have known Kristen since we had English together in community college some years ago. We were never close, but when I photographed Michele's wedding last year, which was one of my first 'big' weddings, Kristen pulled me aside at the reception and said " I just need to let you know that when I get married, you are taking the pictures. Cause I just love you " And I feel like I blinked and it was Kristen's wedding day.
Her and Matt said 'I do' at the Pizzadili Vineyard & Winery in Felton, DE. Every detail was completely stunning. From the homemade jam down to every piece of lace on Kristen's dress. This wedding was like a dream. I have been to quite a few weddings now, whether I am a guest or I'm working, and I always get a little teary; but there were a few times I had to wipe tears out of my viewfinder for this one. Kristen and Matt are just two peas. Everyone that attended this wedding could feel the love and compassion that was put into planning this day, every part of it was so sentimental and I hope that that sentiment radiates through these images. There are probably over 100 photographs underneath of these paragraphs, so I hope you're ready for this. And yes, out of 2,000 photos I took Saturday, it was extremely difficult to narrow this first look into their wedding down to just these.
