Timeless Farm Wedding Inspiration | Nelson Farm Pocomoke MD

It is incredible what can happen when a group of creatives come together. It is July now... and I am still swooning over this entire day back in April!

I attended a workshop this past year and it lit a fire inside of me to create a styled shoot on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I wanted to bring to life a wedding day that our Shore girls dream about, so Brooke (a local wedding planner and designer) and I put our heads together and I think we accomplished just that with the help of several talented wedding professionals that were local to us. This was such a blast, there was amazing food and people. We had such an awesome time pretending Katie and Justin were actually tying the knot! Our inspiration was a classic, timeless look. We went for neutral colors when it came to details, because we wanted all of the bright colors of this breathtaking farm to really shine. Our setting was on The Nelson Farm in Pocomoke, a secluded little farm tucked away in the Pocomoke Forest. Every detail was flawless, I think every vendor was in complete awe of one another.

Katie + Justin are the poster children for dream wedding couples, even if they were just models for the day. These high school sweethearts spent their entire day laughing and whispering to one another which made capturing them an absolute breeze. They kissed under a gorgeous handmade arch; complete with white flowing linen, the most beautiful greenery and earl grey blooms with some pops of blush. Katie's floral crown and bouquet were bursting with greenery also and accompanied by some soft cream ribbon and her "borrowed" vintage key passed down from family, such an intimate detail added to something so beautiful! Her Sophia Tolli dress fit Katie like it was made just for her and had lace sleeves that were to die for. Our maids were stunning in their versatile Lulu's dresses and each lady wore a simple pair of gold Stella & Dot studs to compliment the simplistic style of this wedding. We incorporated assorted vintage china into their table scape which matched every gorgeous detail in the antique lounge setup from Paige at A Little Rusty Shop. The classic look of these eclectic furniture pieces tied in so well with the look of the farm and the barn blurred in the distance of some of these images. Ami from Little Miss Lovely poured her heart into every detail of her arrangements, including the gold bird cage that was overflowing with garden roses. Guy Bashore of Liquid Assets catering gave a new beauty to food that I thought only existed in an alternate universe. He perfected the look of the bar and harvest table, his team truly made meat and cheeses a form of art. It was impeccable.

Still forever grateful to every vendor that made this day possible! And thank you to FabYouBliss.com for featuring the shoot!
